They're Married!

Sara and Jared Parrish were married on October 24, 2009.  It was a day so filled with love that I still get goosebumps thinking about it!!  From the simplicity of the flowers, the moving and magnificent ceremony music, the breathtaking bride and the really fabulous and fun reception, it was a day that we will never forget.  It could not have been more beautiful!!  Thank you to everyone who blessed us with your presence and shared this day of love with us.

The Big Day Approaches

I can't believe it... our daughter's wedding is one month away! What a journey life has been in the 24 years since she arrived into my arms!! Sara has found the most awesome partner and he will be the best husband! They are madly in love, and I pray that God will strengthen that love and keep it fresh and alive all the years of their lives!

Butterflies & Beauty

Golly - it's been a long time since I've put anything on here. Just don't have much time these days. Between running the business, gardening on weekends, maintaining 2 homes and starting a new company, there is not a moment to spare.

But, I did take time while gardening to take some pictures of some of my favorite creatures. We have tried to create a haven for butterflies and birds and it seems to be working. Many varieties of butterflies seem to be attracted to our yard now. Sometimes there are literally hundreds of them on the Vitex blooms.
